Fresco Paint Application Guide.

DIY Self Application: Best suited to exterior use; interior use recommended with care.
Tools: Roller (polypile) for first coat; brush for second coat and texture finishing.

Preparation.

• Ensure surfaces are clean, sound and primed with Midas Masonry Primer.
• Apply Midas Coarse Aggregate Primer, tinted to the chosen shade; allow to dry.

Top Coats.

• Stir thoroughly before use.
• Apply two coats of Fresco: first coat with a roller for even coverage; second coat brushed to create texture.
• Contemporary finish: Lay off with a block brush in vertical or horizontal strokes.
• Rustic finish: Use crisscross brushing for a weathered, handcrafted look.

Coverage and Drying

• Midas Coarse Aggregate Primer – ±4 m² / litre.
• Fresco – ±2 m² / litre.
• Primer overcoating time – Minimum 4 hours.
• Fresco overcoating time – Minimum 6 hours.
• Ensure full drying between coats to avoid performance issues.
