This 2-part system includes both the powder (Part B) and liquid polymer (Part A): no extra water needed. Just mix, apply, and let it cure. Its creamy consistency ensures smooth coverage on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, even on slightly damp substrates.

Technical Confidence, Simplified Application.

Application of Sikalastic.

1. Substrate Preparation.

Ensure the surface is sound, clean, and slightly damp (SSD). Remove dust, grease, and weak material. Repair cracks and voids with suitable Sika mortars before coating.

2. Mixing.

• Shake Part A (liquid polymer) thoroughly.
• Pour half into a mixing bucket, slowly add Part B (powder) while mixing.
• Add the remaining liquid and mix for at least 3 minutes until smooth.
• Do not add extra water.

3. Application.

• Apply the first coat using a trowel, roller, or spray at ~1.5 mm.
• Allow it to dry, then apply a second coat to reach ~3 mm total.
• Embed alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh in the first coat for high-stress zones (150–160 g/m²).
• Protect from rain for 24–48 hours.

4. Curing and Overcoating.

At +20 °C, the coating can be tiled or painted after approximately 2 days.
Lower temperatures (around +10 °C) may require up to 7 days.

Sika® Cemflex® simplifies waterproofing without compromising quality.

For waterproofing applications:

1. Mix equal parts Cemflex® and water.
2. Gradually add Portland cement while stirring to avoid lumps.
3. Apply the slurry with a brush or roller over a clean, damp surface.
4. Reinforce with Cemflex® Fabric for maximum strength.
5. Apply additional coats as needed and allow to dry fully before exposure to water.

For bonding or bagging coats:
Mix Cemflex® and water (1:1), then combine with equal parts clean sand and cement.
Apply to damp brick or plaster surfaces and finish while the layer is still wet.

Coverage:
Waterproofing slurry: 1 L covers ≈ 1 m² (with membrane).
Bonding slurry: 4.5 L covers 8–10 m².

Application conditions:
Ambient 5 °C – 35 °C | Substrate 5 °C – 30 °C.
